Macon-Bibb EOC Releases New Website

The Macon-Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. (EOC) is pleased to announce the release of its newly redesigned website at www.maconbibbeoc.com.  This new website was designed to welcome visitors with a clean, modern design featuring vibrant images and content focused on its mission: “Helping People, Changing Lives, Building Families.”  One very important improvement is that the new website is “responsive” in its design,. meaning that it provides a user-friendly reading and navigation experience whether you are viewing the site on your desktop computer or on a mobile device such as a table or mobile smartphone.  “The EOC Board works very hard to provide quality services to populations in need,” said Sarita Hill, Executive Director, “and we are excited about using our new website as an asset to support those efforts.”

The EOC’s new website was developed in partnership with the Middle Georgia Regional Commission (MGRC), a regional planning organization that supports community and economic development through service to its member local governments and partner agencies. “A quality web presence is increasingly important for all entities, whether public, private or non-profit because the website is often the primary means of providing information to clients and potential clients,” said Nick Kouloungis, Director of Technology Services at the MGRC. “our approach for designing the website was to ensure that it intuitively provides visitors with desired information, but also reflects the values of the organization and the excellence with which it carries out its mission.”
